The Purpose of our Projects: is to form leaders who can create and serve healthy communities, connecting with other healthy cells in a global, eco-social movement.
Healthy Cells
Nature and science teach us that cells are the building blocks of life; the base, functional unit of living organisms. Each cell is its own autonomous ‘community’ that works interdependently with other cell-communities for the wellbeing of the whole. This scientific model can be applied to the macrocosm of a social body, comprised of inter-working communities, or cells.
Within each cell is the hereditary information needed to function and transmit data to the next generation. An unhealthy psychological, emotional or physical environment breeds disease that pollutes and mutates the cells, which in turn multiply as sickness and dysfunction. If we observe our current society and Mother Earth, we can note the proliferation of diseased environments and unhealthy social cells.
It is essential that we transmute these sick conditions and restore the healthy transmission of information – that of sacred Nature – to each cell. Without this, we and future generations will never live in a healthy social body.

Challenges in the Andes
Traditional Andean life was based on ‘Ayllu’ (‘community’) and ‘Ayni’ (‘reciprocation’), whereby community members worked together to exchange time and resources to collectively support their culture, health, nutrition, and environment.
Over Andean history, most spiritual leaders were either killed or driven into hiding, bringing about the decline of this great cultural and spiritual era.
Today, Andean people face further threat to their ways of life, largely due to the influx of western culture which promotes individualism, and sees western education as the only means to social status and material gain. With technology regarded as the sole method of communication, pharmaceuticals centered on destroying disease rather than treating the person, and food being produced unethically and synthetically, we see that Andean culture is at serious risk of dissolution.
This is the common situation for indigenous populations throughout the Americas. Traditional tribal life is nearly extinct, as is the ancestral wisdom which can bring the healing that the modern world needs. Tribal youth are divided between serving their ancestral lineage and chasing the dream of the western world.
These circumstances demand that Andean people rise up, that their leaders reunite pueblos in a contemporary context while honoring the splendor of their invaluable traditions. From this, a brave new world can emerge.

Solutions
To sustain the Andean people in this call to action, we see the need to co-develop formation centers that can train the indigenous in community leadership, based on their ancestral wisdom.
At our formation center, we offer free community education to aspiring Peruvian leaders from local communities. |
With their formation, these leaders can initiate community projects that are rooted in ancestral tradition but actualized in modern-day context, to address the most urgent needs of the collective. They can recover cultural knowledge and practices, connect innovative education with tradition, initiate ethical economic enterprise, and provide healthy nutrition to their community.
The products and services developed by the community can be exchanged with other pueblos through a collaborative network, thus reinforcing Ayllu and Ayni values. By sharing together, people expand their holistic vision and deepen their potential to be at service to Life.
This project-based approach can serve as a model for other indigenous and intentional communities, and we propose many ways in which one can participate or benefit. We also extend this local project model to our relations worldwide.

In 2012 our community purchased 76 acres of pampa-jungle near Santa Maria, on a mountain close to Machu Picchu. Our intention is to develop an eco-village and cultural education center for our expanding Sacred Wheel Project. We are working with local Quechuan families who want to see their community collaborate, reconnecting with ancestral wisdom and developing projects of agriculture, medicine, nutrition, and distribution of agro-alimentation goods. In this way they may improve their socio-economic conditions, while healing relations in their communities.
Moving forward, this eco-village aims to offer:

In the near future, we hope to expand the medicinal plant laboratory to include a natural diagnostic and healing clinic, for local Peruvians with limited economic means. In this way we can offer an alternative to the prolific distribution of pharmaceutical drugs and impersonal medical services.

We are constructing a medicinal plant laboratory that will be dedicated to researching and producing natural medicine, in collaboration with representatives from different traditions. These members will see the process of healing in relation to medical sciences, and in harmony with Nature. From this common base, natural remedies will be produced which are effective at a physical level and also at the level of consciousness, helping humans to re-encounter a healthy dynamic with Life. The center will also provide public education and advanced formation for those interested in working with natural medicine.
Currently, we work with various Quechuan and Aymara communities to preserve their knowledge of natural medicine, and develop products for sale. From these collaborations, and our own research, we also produce a line of natural medicine called Willka Hampi (meaning ‘Sacred Medicine’) that includes: tinctures, creams, sprays, flower baths, and essential oil extracts. We cultivate and wild-harvest almost all our plants, and the rest we receive from our Quechuan associates. Our production of natural medicine is an example of a functional community enterprise that is at service to the wellbeing of all members, as well as the local – and eventually, global – population. At our principle community in the Sacred Valley, we have initiated a school for individuals and groups, with programs based on shamanism as a mystical path of leadership formation. We work with Sacred Plants and apply ceremonial knowledge to discover the higher potential of Life’s arts and sciences.
We offer on-site programs from 3 days to up to 3 weeks in duration. Our long term formation process can be undergone over months or several years, depending on the level one is seeking. We are constantly expanding our programs and creating new ones to fit the needs of our participants, and the needs of local and global projects. For more information, visit the Programs page. |
Project & Group ConsultationRead MoreProject & Group Consultation
We offer services to indigenous groups, communities and leaders, as well as to NGOs and organizations. We facilitate the discovery of a universal base on which to develop projects, in a connected weaving of nourishing alliances. This work permits leaders and groups to see how their service is connected with a global vision and project.
We customize programs to optimize the group’s potential by working with Sacred Wheel wisdom and other ancestral practices. Teams are trained to work in circle consciousness, and be able to manifest a vision that integrates the leadership initiatives of each member. Our unique methodology permits groups to evaluate the archetypes within their relations, transforming consciousness and unlocking potential in a complementary dynamic. This program is offered at our beautiful retreat center in the Sacred Valley of Peru. We can also arrange to travel to your country. For more information, visit the programs page. Pachamama UniversityRead MorePachamama University
We are innovating a transnational university project which unites organizations, specialists, and entrepreneurs to expand their fields based on the Cosmovision of the Sacred Wheel in order to serve the ecological movement currently taking place in the world.
The goal of this project is to re-discover the mystical aspect of the arts and sciences through universal structures and ancestral wisdom, serving the real relation between Nature and Humanity. Developing a holistic approach to formation based on a global vision, the Pachamama University will train the leaders, medicine people, therapists and scientists who can manifest conscious, interconnected projects for the Golden Era of humanity. The initial phase of the project is to reunite various groups and individuals (from indigenous and occidental origins) through a virtual platform where a common agreement about the base of the Cosmovision can emerge from proposals, community texts and the dynamic itself. From this common foundation, tables of investigation on particular sectors can commence. With these common agreements and advanced investigations, we envision the manifestation of wisdom centers providing university level education and formation to people from all origins. This education will serve to form leaders who are capable of bringing innovative solutions in their fields with the consciousness of ancestral wisdom and of leading their people to participate in interconnected community projects. In a very exciting collaboration with the Pachamama Alliance, we offer the opportunity to participate in online table discussions, dedicated to raising awareness of the issues we most need to address in these times. The discussions are at service to the development of the University Project by providing the platform to share wisdom, clarify major themes, promote projects, and investigate different arts and sciences. Here is the calendar of the table-discussions happening in 2017. Please contact us if you are interested in participating. |
